The increasing population in Indonesia is accompanied by an increase in the amount of food consumption and organic waste from food consumption. Current organic waste processing still tends to be used as compost. On the other hand, innovations in the processing of organic waste have begun to develop, one of which is by utilizing organic waste for the cultivation of maggot larvae. Seeing the potential and in order to provide insight to young people about maggot cultivation, the Plant Protection Student Association (Himasita) IPB University held a maggot cultivation training. This training was held Sunday (10/13) at Plaza Harmoni Crop Protection.
