Department of Family and Consumer Science IPB University and Islamic Relief Indonesia Conduct Gender-Based Climate Change Adaptation Studies.

Department of Consumer and Family Science, Faculty of Human Ecology, IPB University in collaboration with Islamic Relief Indonesia conducted a study “Gender-Based Approach to Climate Change Adaptation in Lombok”. This study aims to assess the extent to which women are vulnerable to climate change disasters on the island of Lombok. This study also identifies the process of mainstreaming gender issues in development planning. As well as identifying gender-based best practices in accordance with the results of evaluations and lessons learned during the project.
