In his 59th IPB University Anniversary Celebration Speech entitled “Strengthening the Resilience of the Indonesian Food System Amid the Threat of a Global Crisis”, Thursday (1/09/2022), the Rector of IPB University, Prof. Arif Satria alluded to important efforts to improve food system resilience including through Intensification and Assistance of Farmers. Intensification is an effort to increase agricultural yields by cultivating existing land, either by using fertilizers, irrigation, maintenance, and superior seeds.
