Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five due to chronic nutritional deficiencies, especially during the first 1000 days of life, namely the period of pregnancy until the child is two years old. Based on the study on the nutritional status of Indonesia in 2021, the number of stunting in Indonesia has decreased to 24.4 percent compared to 2019 (27.7 percent). Although it has decreased, the number of stunting in Indonesia is still above the WHO standard (20 percent) so it is still a health problem in Indonesia.
