The theme of JPTI in 2018 is “Awakening the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) of this Country.” Through this JPTI activity, the concept of IPM can be applied massively in Indonesia. The IPM applications in Indonesia are still rarely implemented. Prof. Dr. Ir. Damayanti Buchori, M.Sc, explained that agriculture is not only limited to planting and harvesting, but also must maintain the agroecosystem on the planted land.
