Indonesia will make history for the opportunity to host the G20 Presidency after 23 years of joining as a member. Indonesia is trusted to be the representative of Southeast Asia to set the agenda as well as a consensus facilitator for global macroeconomic discussions over the next few years. The theme of this year’s G20 Presidency is “Recover together, recover stronger” and is still related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
