Dr Yurdi Yasmi, alumnus of IPB University who is currently the Director of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Southeast Asia, attended a Forestry Recitation Event to discuss about community-based forest management. He specifically focused on social forestry, its implementation, and gave examples of the ongoing practiced concept in other countries.
