Tenun gadod, a traditional weaving technique, is one of cultural attractions of Nunuk Baru Village, Majalengka Regency, West Java. Usually, tenun gadod is used to make shawls, traditional baby slings (karembong), and boeh (a traditional cloth). Tenun gadod uses pure cotton, which is planted by the locals themselves. However, the amounts of raw materials and human resources are not in line with the rising demand of the market.
