Currently, the existence of the mangrove ecosystem in Sumenep Regency, East Java Province, is very worrying. From year to year the mangrove area is degraded. One of the villages experiencing the threat of mangrove degradation is Tanjung Village, Saronggi District. For this reason, through the Lecturer Returns to Village (Dospulkam) program, a number of IPB University lecturers collaborated with the Community Supervisory Group (Pokmaswas) Reng Paseser to take mitigation actions.
